DaBomb Protein Biotech Corp. and Kuo-Huan Group jointly organized the "2026 6th Kuo-Huan Good Luck Games" which was successfully completed.
The "6th National Sun Yat-sen University Good Luck Games 2026", co-organized by DaBomb Protein Biotech Corp. (TW 6578) and the Kuo-Huan Group, will be held on May 30 at the National Sun Yat-sen University Gymnasium.
The event, centered on ESG sustainability and corporate social responsibility, brought together group partners, professionals from the animal nutrition, health, and medical industry, and faculty and students from the Department of Veterinary Medicine and the Department of Animal Science and Technology at National Pingtung University of Science and Technology. Through sports, it aimed to strengthen industry cohesion and showcase the cross-generational passion, vitality, and unity of Taiwan's animal health industry. This year's Good Luck Games reached a new record in scale, attracting over 500 participants, making it the largest annual sports and networking event for Taiwan's animal nutrition, health, and medical industry.
Participants included large and small animal clinical veterinarians, animal nutrition formulators, agro-food chain (livestock industry) practitioners, as well as outstanding young students and teachers from academia. They used sports to bridge the gap between industry and academia, injecting more cohesion and future momentum into the industry. On the day of the event, nearly 200 matches were held in various sports including table tennis, badminton, volleyball, and basketball. Veterinarians, formulation researchers, and industry partners, who usually wear white coats and work clothes, changed into sportswear on the courts, sweating it out and showcasing teamwork and sportsmanship. Cheers and shouts of encouragement frequently echoed from the sidelines. Participants high-fived each other after scoring points and encouraged one another during the games, adding a youthful and passionate atmosphere to the otherwise professional and rigorous industry exchange. This year's participants ranged in age from 10 to 70, fully demonstrating intergenerational harmony and a healthy lifestyle within the animal protection industry. Beyond competition and exchange, it also allowed industry partners from different generations to build friendships through sports, creating a large-scale, cross-disciplinary exchange platform rarely seen in Taiwan's animal protection industry.
Following the event, the organizers hosted the "2026 Guohuan Good Luck Games Athletes' Social Night and Awards Ceremony." Through a dinner and networking event, the event aimed to foster deeper friendships and collaborative connections among the animal welfare industry professionals, further strengthening the cohesion of Taiwan's animal welfare industry. Chen Liang-rong, Chairman of the Guohuan Group, stated that the group has long prioritized the physical and mental well-being of its employees and business partners. Through the Guohuan Foundation, the group continuously promotes various health promotion programs, including regular sports clubs such as Go Far basketball, badminton, and volleyball clubs, as well as walking activities. The group has been hosting the "Guohuan Good Luck Games" since 2021 and received "Sports Enterprise Certification" from the Ministry of Education's Sports Administration in 2024. He emphasized the hope that the company's efforts in promoting sports culture will make sports a vital driving force for corporate sustainability and social well-being.
In his address at the dinner, Chen Wei-chen, Chairman of DaBomb Protein Biotech Corp. , expressed his delight at continuing to participate in the National Joyful Games, noting the high level of enthusiasm and cohesion among industry, government, and academic professionals in the animal health sector. He believes this unity and vitality will be a vital driving force for Taiwan's animal health industry to go global. Chen pointed out that DaBomb Protein Biotech Corp. , established 24 years ago and located in the Tainan Science and Technology Industrial Park, has the Kuo-Huan Group as its largest shareholder and key partner. In addition to its deep cultivation of peptide protein technology in the global market, the company launched its independently developed " DaBomb Postbiotic" technology in 2024, applied to pet health, livestock, and aquaculture. Experimental verification has shown its potential to replace antibiotics, making it a more precise and future-oriented animal husbandry solution. He also expressed his hope that more Taiwanese biotechnology R&D and animal health professionals will join in the future to jointly promote the upgrading of Taiwan's animal health industry and enable Taiwan to occupy an important position in the global animal health field.
The National Games concluded successfully with a banquet filled with laughter and songs. Animal protection elites from industry, government, and academia agreed to gather again next year to maintain health through sports, strengthen friendships through exchanges, and continue to inject positive energy into Taiwan's animal protection industry.
