Employee safety and workplace protection
To safeguard the safety and health of our employees, our company has established an Environmental Safety Department to implement various management measures and is dedicated to ensuring the safety and health of our employees' work environment.
Work environment management
- The facility is equipped with an access control and monitoring system, and has 24-hour security personnel to manage entry and exit and maintain factory security.
- Safety protection devices are installed in all production-related equipment and areas, and employees are provided with complete safety protection equipment such as safety shoes, earplugs, and goggles.
- Engage a professional environmental testing company to conduct regular monitoring of the workers' working environment in order to understand the actual working conditions and ensure the safety and health of workers.
Health Management and Promotion
- General health check: Employees shall undergo general health check-ups regularly in accordance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Special health examination: Employees working in workplaces with legally defined special health hazards are required to undergo a special health examination annually. Our company did not require a special health examination in 2012 based on the workplace environment testing results.
- Our company has a gym and an employee welfare committee, and we regularly organize cultural and recreational activities to promote the physical and mental well-being of our employees.
Building safety and equipment management
- A professional organization is commissioned to conduct public safety inspections of buildings every two years; the public safety inspection for building 113 was completed in October. The inspection for 115 is expected to be carried out in September.
- A professional organization is commissioned to conduct fire safety inspections annually; the inspections for fiscal year 2014 were completed in November. The inspections for fiscal year 2015 are expected to be conducted in October.
- Annual safety inspections of boilers and passenger/freight elevators are regularly commissioned to professional organizations; the boiler safety inspection for fiscal year 2014 was completed in September of that year. The plan for fiscal year 2015 is expected to be implemented in September.
- Monthly self-inspection, maintenance, and checks of hazardous equipment were all completed according to plan.
Safety and hygiene management
- Our company has established "Occupational Safety and Health Work Code", "Occupational Safety and Health Management Plan", "Fire Protection Plan" and other disaster prevention guidelines.
- New employees are required to receive at least 3 hours of safety and hygiene training, and all new employees in 2015 have completed the training; at the same time, existing employees receive at least 3 hours of on-the-job safety and hygiene training every year.
- At least two fire and emergency response drills are conducted annually; the first and second halves of the fire and emergency response drills were completed in March and November of 2025. The first and second halves of the fire and emergency response drills are expected to be conducted in May and November of 2026.
